About Me

Stephanie: Bayridge, Brooklyn, New York; Stephanie is a plant enthusiast who pays the bills by being a gardener at an awesome public park in Midtown Manhattan. She holds a bachelor of science in horticulture and turfgrass science from the University of Connecticut. She also did a minor in landscape design.

Stephanie has 6 years experience in horticulture and gardening with jobs ranging from soil analysis, to site design to golf course maintenance. While she has skills in all of these things, garden design and maintenance is her specialty.

She enjoys a few other things that aren't plant related, but since this is a gardening blog, she will currently refrain from listing them here. That is a job for another day (that no one cares about).

Stephanie currently cares for 6 acres of public space and a little under a hundred house and window box plants. She has a fondness for xeric plants and bulbs.
