Winter Gardening: Plant Favorites

I figured I would share some of my favorite plants for winter gardening while we're still in the season. I have a few spring plants blooming right now too. I'm not going to include them since they never really went dormant in the first place here.

I've been hesitant to cut back the foliage with all the weird weather we've been having

Pieris japonica 'Cavatine'

 Gaultheria procumbens

Osmanthus heterophyllus 'All Gold'

Skimmia japonica

Psh. I know there are plenty of books out there on winter gardening now, but lets face it. Anyone who says winter gardening is a sham, really just isn't growing the right plants. Corylopsis is probably up next. I can't wait.
