For those of you who have seen Kim Jong-il looking at things, this meme is dedicated to you. After looking through old photos, it has come to my attention that I really look like I'm just inspecting plants at every plant event I go to. Maybe I have issues.

Winter Gardening: Plant Favorites

I figured I would share some of my favorite plants for winter gardening while we're still in the season. I have a few spring plants blooming right now too. I'm not going to include them since they never really went dormant in the first place here.

Psh. I know there are plenty of books out there on winter gardening now, but lets face it. Anyone who says winter gardening is a sham, really just isn't growing the right plants. Corylopsis is probably up next. I can't wait.

Black Cotton Update

After visiting my father over the weekend. I can say for sure that my cotton did produce two cotton balls. Woot! I'll be trying this in the park come spring if all goes to plan. I guess there will be pictures of it under actual cultivation, rather than the plant and abandon method I tried at the property.
